Occupational Therapy
Coming to GTC September 2025!
At GTC Therapy, our occupational therapy services will be designed to support neurodiverse individuals in building the skills they need to thrive in daily routines. From fine motor coordination to sensory regulation and independent living, we will focus on what matters most to each person and their family. Whether your child needs support with handwriting, self-care tasks, or navigating sensory experiences, our OT team will work alongside you to create functional, strengths-based goals that promote confidence and independence—at home, at school, and beyond.
What we offer
-
We start with a comprehensive evaluation to understand strengths, challenges, and everyday routines. Evaluations are tailored to the individual and may include fine motor, sensory, daily living, and environmental needs assessments.
-
Our OTs provide individualized therapy focused on meaningful, functional outcomes—like improving handwriting, increasing independence in dressing or feeding, managing sensory needs, or building routines that work for your family.
-
We offer ongoing consultation with families, educators, and support staff to ensure strategies are working across environments—not just during sessions. OT is most effective when it’s integrated into everyday life, and we’re here to help make that happen.
Why OT Matters
Occupational therapy helps people do the things they need and want to do—whether that’s getting dressed, playing, eating a meal, or participating in school or work. For neurodiverse individuals, OT can open the door to more independence, confidence, and comfort in daily life. We approach every session with respect for individual differences and a belief in each person’s potential.
Who we serve
We work with children, teens, and adults—especially those with developmental disabilities, sensory processing needs, or motor coordination challenges. Our team has experience supporting autistic individuals and others who benefit from a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach.
