Full-Time Lead Speech Language Pathologist

💬 About the Role

We are looking for a speech language pathologist who is passionate about evidence based practice, lifelong learning, and supporting other speech therapists in the field.  This position is a hybrid position, with roughly 30 hours a week dedicated to patient care and 10 hours a week dedicated to helping to run a podcast and professional development platform for speech language pathologists called SLP Nerdcast. 

Key Details

  • Job Type: Full-time, salaried (guaranteed pay), hybrid (~25% work from home, ~75% in person)

  • Pay Range: $80,000–$95,000 per year. Pay is guaranteed.
    (based on experience, determined through our transparent company-wide pay rubric)

  • Location: Flexible: we are willing to consider candidates able to commute to any of the following locations in MA: Worcester, Concord / Bedford, Methuen, or Franklin

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday with some after-school hours; flexible scheduling available

  • Clinical Responsibilities: Conducting speech and language evaluations; Providing speech and language consultation (more detail below)

  • Administrative Responsibilities: Managing social media accounts; Managing course production pipelines and promotional materials (more detail below)

🧩 What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology (required)

  • Licensed SLP in the state of Massachusetts (required)

  • A minimum of 5 years experience (required)

  • CCC-SLP, background check, and valid driver’s license (required; this is not a CF position)

  • Pediatric experience (required)

  • Excellent organization, task-management, and communication skills (required)

  • A strong interest in evidence-based practices (preferred)

  • AAC experience (preferred)

📋 Clinical Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations

  • Provide therapy and consultation

  • Conduct and support AAC treatment

📋 Administrative Responsibilities

  • Managing social media accounts 

  • Course project management, including managing and coordinating guest relations, managing production pipelines, and promotional materials

  • Managing customer service, as needed

  • Facilitating platform growth through contributions to course creation ideas, materials, and other extensions of the podcast platform
